Neptune’s Nautical Academy
Located in Hermanus New Harbour, Neptune’s Nautical Academy is an accredited RYA (Royal Yachting Association) training school dedicated to excellence in maritime education.
We specialise in powerboat handling, safety at sea, and navigation skills, offering world-class training for both beginners and experienced boaters. Our internationally recognised certifications — including RYA Powerboat Level 2 and the RYA Personal Watercraft (PWC) Proficiency Course — equip students with essential skills for safe and confident boating, whether for leisure or professional use.
Our Chief Instructor, Marx Mohr, brings over 18 years of commercial experience on the water. Having built this school on the strong foundation of our parent company, Neptune’s Divers & Cruises, we combine formal RYA training with our rich history in local maritime operations. This allows us to deliver not only the course syllabus, but also real-world scenarios and practical skills that put our students a step ahead of the rest.
